Delivery Windows in Shopify
Let customers choose a delivery time on the cart page or in checkout. The chosen window becomes the scheduled time of the Fleetbase order.
Delivery Windows in Shopify
Customers can choose when their order is delivered. The window travels with the order and becomes the Fleetbase order's scheduled time.
Turn it on
In Settings › Delivery date and time, turn on Let customers choose a delivery window, then set:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Require a window before checkout | Off |
| Offer "As soon as possible" | On |
| Lead time (minutes) | 60 |
| Days ahead | 7 |
| Window length (minutes) | 120 |
| Opening hours per weekday | Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 |
| Closed dates | None |
Times use your store timezone. Windows start at opening time and step by the window length; each must start at least the lead time from now.
Cart page (every plan)
- Open Online Store › Themes › Customize and go to the cart template.
- Add the Delivery window app block where the picker should appear.
- If your theme has a cart drawer or no slot for app blocks, turn on the Delivery window (cart) app embed in Theme settings › App embeds instead. It places the picker before the checkout button.
When a window is required, the checkout button stays blocked until the customer picks one.
Checkout (Shopify Plus)
In the checkout editor, add Fleetbase delivery window under the shipping options. It is hidden when the customer chooses pickup. The thank-you page shows the chosen window on every plan.
On the order
The window is saved as the order attributes Delivery time (readable) and _fleetbase_delivery_slot (used by the app). "As soon as possible" sends the order unscheduled.
