Campaigns
Send push and in-app inbox notifications to a segment or all customers, right away or on a schedule, with a deep link to a promotion or URL.
Campaigns
A campaign is a notification sent to many customers at once — by push, to their in-app notifications inbox, or both. Campaigns can go out immediately or at a scheduled time, and can link to a promotion so tapping them opens the deal in your app.
Manage campaigns in Storefront → Promotions → Campaigns. The list shows each campaign's status, audience, title, send time and how many customers it reached.

Creating a campaign
Open the Campaigns tab and click New campaign.
Enter a Name (internal), and the Notification title and Notification message customers will see.
Choose the Audience: a segment, or leave it empty for all customers.
Choose the Channels: Push notification, In-app inbox, or both.
Optionally pick a Linked promotion (tapping the notification opens it in the app) or enter a URL to link to instead.
Choose When to send: Save as draft, Send now, or Schedule with a date and time. Click Save.

Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved, not scheduled. Edit it or choose Send now later. |
| Scheduled | Will be sent at its send time. |
| Sending | Being delivered. |
| Sent | Delivered to the audience; Customers reached shows how many were targeted. |
| Canceled | Will not be sent — canceled by you, or automatically when its linked promotion was paused, ended or deleted before the send time. |
Use the row menu to Send now or Cancel campaign. Draft and scheduled campaigns can be edited; sent campaigns can't.
How delivery works
- When a campaign is due, Storefront resolves its audience, then delivers it in queued batches of customers. A campaign is never sent twice, even if several schedulers run.
- Customers who turned off promotions in their notification preferences receive nothing.
- Push notifications go to every device the customer registered with your app (or your network's app). The inbox copy is available to your app through the notifications API, and is also broadcast in realtime.
- The deep link is included in the notification data:
campaign_id, pluspromotion_idfor a linked promotion, oraction,action_idandaction_urlfor other links. Your app decides what to open.
Scheduled campaigns are sent by the Fleetbase scheduler, and delivery runs on the queue worker. If either isn't running, campaigns stay scheduled or are not delivered.
Announcing promotions
The quickest way to create a campaign for a promotion is Announce to customers in the promotion's row menu — see Promotions. The campaign is named Announce: [promotion], links to the promotion, and is scheduled for when the promotion starts.
Quick push notifications
The Push Notifications tab sends a one-off message to selected customers or everyone. It creates a campaign behind the scenes, so those messages are also recorded in the Campaigns list. See Push Notifications.
